How to register

There are two methods of registration available:

1. ONLINE

  • Register via the online registration form. Please note that registrations online must be paid for via credit card (VISA and MasterCard). 

2. MANUAL

  • Download the registration brochure [PDF, 528 KB] print, complete and return to the conference manager.


Accommodation

Attractive room rates are available through the conference managers at a number of Melbourne hotels. Accommodation can be booked at the time of registration. 

All hotels are within a comfortable walking distance to the conference venue, the Melbourne Convention Centre.

Registration and accommodation booking information

How to book accommodation: Please indicate when completing the registration form your accommodation requirements, listing hotels in preferential order ie 1, 2, 3, etc and forward deposit for your first preference.

As there is limited space available at each hotel, it is important that you book early. Accommodation will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of registration form and payment.

Accommodation rates are for room only and do not include breakfast unless stated otherwise.

Payment of accommodation: The balance of your accommodation account and any incidental charges must be paid in full, directly to the hotel, on departure.

Early arrival or late departure: Check in time for the conference hotels is from 14:00. Please advise the conference manager in writing if you will be arriving before this time as you may be required to book the previous night to guarantee immediate access to your hotel.

Please also advise the conference manager in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 18:00 to avoid your room being released.

Deadlines: The conference hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival; therefore any bookings made after Friday 1 August 2008 will be subject to availability.

Change of booking: Any change to a reservation must be made in writing to the conference manager and not directly to the hotel.

Cancellation policy: accommodation: A cancellation fee of either a one night deposit or full payment may be imposed for cancellations within 30 days of check in. Some hotels may strictly enforce this. Any amendments to original hotel booking must be forwarded in writing to the conference manager.

Cancellation policy: registration fees: Cancellations received in writing by the conference manager, prior to Friday 1 August 2008 will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund. No refund will be given after this date; however, an alternative delegate name may be submitted. All cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing to the conference manager.

Privacy statement: Information provided by delegates at the time of registration will be used to administer the conference, including accommodation, catering, sponsorship and exhibition. Data obtained will remain the property of WALDRONSMITH Management and the ACAP 2008 Conference.
