Entertainment: Victoria Police Showband
Performing state-wide to audiences of all ages, the Victoria Police Showband delivers the Force’s message of goodwill to those it serves, the people of Victoria. The Showband is an energetic twenty-five piece group fronted by a dynamic team of vocalists. In uniform, police members deliver powerful performances of songs from the 1940’s Big Band Era, to current Top 40 popular hits. The Showband features saxophones, trumpets, trombones, keyboards, drums, guitar and bass, and has amazing versatility.
The conference dinner, being held in the magnificent heritage listed Plaza Ballroom, is sure to be a night of great company, great music and great fun!
Getting to the Plaza Ballroom: delegate’s are advised to make their own way to the Plaza Ballroom; however a zone 1, 2 –hour Metlink ticket will be available for all pre-registered dinner guests. This ticket, if validated after 1800, will allow you to access the public transport system until 0200.
